What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
DPC with Dr. Dennis Barnett prioritizes the patient-doctor connection, ensuring you receive care when needed without rush. Our model offers unlimited visits, personal access to Dr. Barnett via phone, text, or email, prompt appointments, and extended visits for a flat monthly fee—no insurance required. Enjoy discounted medications, lab, and imaging services, with transparent pricing upfront.

Does Be Strong Direct Primary Care accept insurance?
We function as a hybrid clinic and accept several insurances including Providence, Pacific Source, Atrio, HealthNet, Regence BC/BS, UHC, Cigna, Triwest, VA, and Medicare/Medicaid. Insurance coverage excludes BeStrong DPC as a medical home and as such we are unable to accept or be the primary care provider for those insurances which require a medical home. We are currently full and not accepting Insurance at this time but please consider contacting us for a waitlist.

Do I still need health insurance?
While we handle a wide range of healthcare needs, we recommend maintaining insurance for significant health events like trauma or surgery. Consider a high-deductible plan for such unforeseen circumstances.

What if I don’t have insurance?
At Be Strong Direct Primary Care, you’ll receive the same exceptional care, insurance or not. Often times with the direct contracts and discounted rates people find that imaging, labs, and some medications are more cost-effective without insurance–without compromising quality.

What if I need care outside of regular hours?
Dr. Barnett is accessible by phone for urgent issues outside of standard hours. We strive to accommodate urgent needs promptly.

What is the copayment for office visits?
None. Your membership covers all office visit costs. Additional fees for discounted services will always be communicated transparently.

Can I join Be Strong Direct Primary Care as a Concierge patient if I have Medicare?
